2015 Georgia Income Tax Returns Delayed

Dear Friends --

Recently, Commissioner Lynne Riley announced that due to increased fraudulent activity this filing season, 2015 Georgia Income Tax Returns may take longer to process. The Department of Revenue requests that all Georgia taxpayers allow up to 90 business days to receive state income tax refunds.

Those still waiting to receive their refund can track the status by registering with DOR’s Georgia Tax Center, using the “Where’s my refund?” app, or by calling 1-877-423-6711 and choosing option #2.
