Aspen Dental dentists and teams are pleased to bring free dental care to veterans nationwide once again on June 25. Nearly 400 Aspen Dental offices in 33 states will open their doors to serve veterans in their local communities as part of the Healthy Mouth Movement, a community giving initiative.
Interested veterans should call 1-844-ASPEN-HMM to find a participating Aspen Dental office and schedule an appointment in advance. During appointments on June 25, volunteer dentists and teams will focus on treating the most urgent need of each veteran by providing free services – including fillings, extractions and basic denture repair – to help get them out of dental pain.
In 2015, nearly 300 Aspen Dental practices were honored to treated more than 3,500 veterans in one single day of care in June, resulting in nearly $2 million in donated dentistry.
Feel free to check out this article and hear directly from a patient during the 2015 Aspen Dental-wide Day of Service for veterans.
Dear Friends --
Recently, Commissioner Lynne Riley announced that due to increased fraudulent activity this filing season, 2015 Georgia Income Tax Returns may take longer to process. The Department of Revenue requests that all Georgia taxpayers allow up to 90 business days to receive state income tax refunds.
Those still waiting to receive their refund can track the status by registering with DOR’s Georgia Tax Center, using the “Where’s my refund?” app, or by calling 1-877-423-6711 and choosing option #2.Read more
Dear Friends --
Many men and women have given their lives over the years in defense of the freedoms and way of life we, as proud Americans, enjoy today. The families of these brave people have also sacrificed a great deal; the loss of a loved one is a hurt that touches the depths of our very being.
This Memorial Day we once again stop, pause and give our deepest and most sincere "Thank you" for your sacrifice, and to ask for God's blessing to be upon those we have lost and those who remain behind.
Follows is a commentary by Benita Dodd "Memorial Day Thanks For Better Days After Battle Scars" of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation that is worth taking a few minutes to read.
May God continue to bless America this Memorial Day.

Presidential candidate and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke to a crowd of over 2000 enthusiastic supporters at Ottawa Farms just outside Savannah, Georgia today.
Senator Cruz laid out his vision for America as a return to the values that have made America great. In his first days in office, Cruz promised a repeal of all the illegal, unconstitutional executive order's President Obama has made, to stop Common Core, and to reign in the out of control EPA and other federal agencies that are infringing on our rights as American citizens.
